Wally Kennedy
President

Wally Kennedy is a former college coach at Florida State University. Wally has directed and worked at various basketball camps around the country including the Prominent 45 year old Pocono Invitational and The Hoop Group which is currently the largest basketball operation in the nation which is owned by his cousin Rob Kennedy. He has worked and Lectured at Duke Mike Krzyzewski, NC State Jim Valvano, Georgia Tech Bobby Cremis, Iona College Pat Kennedy, Florida State University Hugh Durham, and North Carolina Dean Smith basketball camps.

Ashley Barker  

Girls Camp Director       

Ashley Barker is a life long resident of Medford Lakes for almost 23 years. She attended Shawnee High School all four years of her high school career and played a big part in the basketball program. As a senior in high school, Ashley decided to attend Wesley College where she was recruited to play basketball. After playing basketball at Wesley College for three semesters, Ashley decided she wanted to further her education at Rowan University to become a Health and Physical Education teacher with an endorcement in Special Education. Ashley enjoys educating, coaching and inspiring children of all ages. Currently at Rowan University, she has been involved with the basketball team as a student coach. As a student coach, Ashley has been able to instruct and interact with athletes at a competitve level of basketball. In the off season, she participates in competitive basketball leagues and has been a part of various basketball camps. Some of the summer basketball camps Ashley has worked include; Sixers Overnight/Day Camp, Burlington County College, Super Rat, Hoop Group, Princeton Camp, etc.

 

 

Lauren Creel      

Girls Camp Director     

Lauren Creel is a South Jersey native as she resides in Pennsauken, NJ and graduated from Pennsauken High School in 2008.   She was a three sport varsity athlete at Pennsauken competing on the soccer, softball and basketball teams.  Lauren was named captain of both the softball and basketball teams her senior year.  She continued her basketball career at Rowan University where she earned a starting position her junior and senior seasons. She is currently one of the teams co-captains and leads her team in scoring.  Lauren was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society, her junior year.  She also earned All-American academic honorable-mention.  Lauren is also an active two year member of SAAC, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, at Rowan University.    She will be graduating in May 2012 with a BA in health and physical education and plans to get a teaching and coaching job as soon as possible upon graduation.  Lauren has worked several different basketball camps including the well known HoopGroup Pocono Invitational, Princeton Tiger Camp, Princeton Team Camp, 76ers overnight and day camp, etc.  She has worked the Girls Super Rat camp the past two years and directed it last summer.  Lauren is young, knowledgeable and possionate about the game of basketball and is excited to become more involved in the Super Rat organization. 

 

John Womelsdorf
Camp Director
John Womelsdorf was a head manager of the men’s basketball team at Rider University for five seasons (2004 to 2009).  John played high school basketball at Cherry Hill West for four years where he was named captain his senior year.  Since 2004 John has been involved with Super Rat Camps as well as Overnight and Team Camps at Rider University.  He is currently over seeing all aspects of The Super Rat Academy, from AAU to monthly camps and clinics.
